Double glazing

Glass with an insulating effect

Glass consisting of at least two panes is what we call double glazing. Double glazing is also known as insulating glass because there is a layer between the different glass panes that provides an insulating effect. With HR glass (high-efficiency glass), this intermediate layer consists of a noble gas that offers a high insulation value.

ScreenLine insulating glass with integrated blinds

With ScreenLine, the blinds are mounted between your double insulating glass. You can operate the blinds either manually or electrically. Operation is very straightforward; with a single control, the blinds can be both tilted and raised. ScreenLine ensures your sun protection works perfectly in tandem with the insulating function of your glass. When you close the blinds, the sun is blocked before it can heat up the room behind the glass. With the blinds tilted open, you let the desired amount of heat and light in. The HR coating on the inner pane then ensures that this heat stays inside.

Solar control insulating glass

Does the sun shine frequently and brightly onto your windows? Then you can opt for solar control insulating glass. This glass is specially designed to let light through, but not the heat of the sun. This can be the ideal solution for rooms with a lot of windows. You can also benefit from the insulating properties of solar control glass, both in summer and winter. On hot days, the heat stays outside, reducing or even eliminating the need for indoor cooling. During the winter period, the glass does exactly the opposite by keeping the heat inside.
